My Story
Clint A. Hall has more than 30 years of experience as a technical researcher, program manager, and line manager in the fields of high-pressure dynamic material response and nuclear counterterrorism. He has supported both the NNSA Weapons and Global Security Programs.
Clint retired from Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) after 35 years of service. He began his career as a Senior Technical Associate (STA) in the Shock Physics Applications Department, progressed to Facility Supervisor, Principal Member of the Technical Staff (PMTS), and finally Manager of the Department. During his tenure in the field of shock physics, Clint was instrumental in pioneering ground-breaking materials characterization techniques and bringing all SNL shock physics efforts under a single department. His final 15 years were spent as the Office of Nuclear Threat Science, NA-82 Program Manager for Sandia National Laboratories. In this role, he managed all aspects of the Nuclear Counterterrorism (NCT) Program for SNL, which included strategic/technical direction and coordination of multiple technically diverse projects across the laboratory to accomplish overarching program goals under strict security requirements. Clint received numerous awards from NNSA and SNL for technical and management excellence.
Clint holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from New Mexico State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico.
